King Charles III has reunited with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, for the first time in four years after hosting Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their children at Highgrove House.
The reunion marks the first time Charles has seen Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, since Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022.
There had been uncertainty over whether Meghan and the children would travel to the UK due to ongoing security concerns after Prince Harry lost taxpayer-funded security following the couple's decision to step back from royal duties in 2020.
Reports had suggested the family might cancel the visit, but Meghan and the children eventually travelled to England after Harry had already arrived earlier in the week for charity engagements and events marking the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
Although the family is not expected to make any public appearances together, reports say they also hope to visit the burial site of Princess Diana at Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire.
Photos of the private family reunion at Highgrove House are not expected to be released.
